Rooted Properties Group is a family-led hospitality, design, redevelopment and restoration company creating intentional, design-forward stays tucked just off the beaten path near Love Creek, minutes from Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. What began as a shared dream—shaped by Athena’s decade of architectural design experience in Washington DC, and David’s love of restoration and hospitality —has grown into something we’re building with intention and care.
We specialize in reimagining underutilized properties with a sustainability-minded approach, honoring what’s already there while bringing new life and purpose to each space. From our long-imagined Airstream to a boutique motel and gathering place coming to life on Sunset Lane, everything we create is rooted in joy, rooted in connection, and rooted in reverence for the land and its history.
